1. Seismic Listening Devices — SEARCH

Sometimes the first sign of life is the faintest vibration.

LEADER’s seismic detectors use ultra-sensitive sensors to capture the tiny signals created by victims — tapping, scratching or subtle movement. These “USAR listening systems” give rescuers the ability to:

• Filter out background noise
• Triangulate a trapped person’s precise location
• Cross-check signal axes to confirm direction and depth

2. UWB Radar Movement Detection — SCAN

Ultra-Wide-Band (UWB) radar systems detect what the human ear can’t: movement beneath solid materials including concrete, wood, tiles and glass.

Using penetrating radar waves, rescuers can:

• Identify micromovements associated with breathing or slight bodily shifts
• Pinpoint a victim’s location even when they cannot make sound
• Scan large areas rapidly during time-critical operations
