Class A fires are ordinary solid combustible fires. These include:

• Plants and derivatives: wood, cardboard, straw, paper, cotton, flax, textile…
• Synthetic polymer fires: plastic, resin, rubber, etc.
• Structural fires combining the materials listed previously: houses, hangars, vehicles
